The Founder Report
The written assessment we produce about a founder — and hand back to them, whether we invest or not.
What is in it
How you tend to decide under pressure and incomplete information. Where your working relationships usually strain. Which periods, on your own record, have coincided with you carrying more risk well — and which have not.
Plus the ordinary half: what we understood about your market and your wedge, and the specific thing we could not get comfortable with.
Why we give it away
Most founders never learn why an investor passed. The answer they get is a polite non-answer, and the information — which the investor does have — stays inside the fund.
Handing the assessment back costs us nothing we should be protecting, and it is the cheapest honest way to be worth talking to before we have a portfolio to point at.
What it is not
It is not a personality test, not a diagnosis, and not a prediction about your company. It is a written description of how we read you, with the reasoning attached so you can disagree with it specifically.
It is yours. You are free to publish it, ignore it, or send it to another investor.
